Overview 

The Slovak National Adaptation Hub (NAH) is being developed as a platform to strengthen cross-sectoral and multi-level cooperation on climate change adaptation. The hub is initiated by project partner PEDAL Consulting in close cooperation with, and with the support of, the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic (MŽP SR). It builds on existing governance structures and reflects current and upcoming national strategic documents, including adaptation strategies and action plans.

The NAH will serve as a multi-level governance platform facilitating coordination, knowledge exchange, and collaboration across sectors and governance levels. Its activities include stakeholder engagement, co-creation of adaptation solutions, and support for policy integration and implementation. The hub brings together key actors, including ministries, public institutions, research organisations, NGOs, private sector representatives, and regional and local stakeholders.

The NAH aims to enhance coordinated adaptation planning and implementation in Slovakia by fostering inclusive cooperation and strengthening climate resilience across sectors and governance levels.
