The Hub promotes institutional dialogue and collaborations across different levels of governance (local, regional, national and European), fosters technical, financial and administrative capacity-building, and facilitates access to information and opportunities for Italian stakeholders. The Hub’s activities range from dialogues on different aspects of climate adaptation, to workshops and training, twinning and exchanges, and feedback sessions. The activities target representatives of public agencies, research and academia, NGOs and civil society, and the private sector (including financial institutions).

The Hub’s primary objectives are to facilitate collaborations across different levels of governance, to improve climate adaptation capacity of Italian stakeholders and improve access to opportunities and knowledge developed in the context of the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change.
