Overview

The Czech National Adaptation Hub (NAH) is being developed as a national coordination platform to support climate adaptation across sectors and levels of governance. It is institutionally anchored at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, which provides scientific, methodological and coordination capacity. The Hub builds on existing national adaptation frameworks while introducing a more structured mechanism for stakeholder engagement, knowledge integration and implementation support, with a strong focus on bridging policy and practice.

The Czech NAH coordinates stakeholders, knowledge and actions to support the practical implementation of climate adaptation. Its core activities include stakeholder mapping and engagement, facilitation of cross-sector cooperation, knowledge sharing, capacity building and support for evidence-based decision-making. It brings together national ministries, regional and local authorities, research institutions, private sector actors and civil society organizations.

The Czech NAH aims to strengthen the country’s capacity to plan, coordinate and implement effective, evidence-based climate adaptation measures across all levels of governance, while accelerating the translation of knowledge into actionable solutions.
